Featuring all handmade pieces, Natalie’s collection showcases timeless, wearable designs with a modern touch, that appeals to a wide range of tastes.  The colors and prints are inspired by the beauty of British Columbia’s West Coast. Soft and subtle earth tones blend seamlessly with elements of water and sky to showcase accents of sand, shells, and driftwood that give Rabenakini a truly one of a kind feeling.

Rabenakini is a comfortable, versatile, and reversible swimwear brand that features high quality fabrics and stunning prints that look and feel great on and off the beach. Each piece is handmade in Canada by designer Natalie Rabena. Born on beautiful Hornby Island, off B.C.’s Pacific Coast, Natalie was inspired by the allure of her natural surroundings which has influenced both the form and function of her work. Natalie’s’ father, Glen Rabena, an accomplished artist himself, has helped to guide and mentor her creative journey, instilling her with the confidence to merge art and fashion into all that she does with Rabenakini.   


Vancouver Fashion Week is entering its 34th season. Focusing on creating a diverse and eclectic showcase of talented local and international designers, VFW propels featured designers and esteemed brands to the forefront of fashion media and to industry buyers. This runway event is one of the fastest growing fashion weeks in the world, and since 2001, Vancouver Fashion Week has acted as a stepping-stone for emerging designers to launch their creations into the fashion industry in hopes of one day appearing on the stages of London, Paris, Milan, and New York.
